Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here is running an MSD Digital 6 on their lude. If so, have you had any problems running or starting your engine? I'm having problems with mine (right now, the car will not start, but the engine turns). There is spark, so it couldn't be the MSD Ignition, but can it be the MSD Blaster SS coil or anything else? Help...

 

check the coil, it may be faulty

 

Is there any way to test the coil without having to buy a new one?

 

put the stock coil back on and see if it starts.

 

Same thing happend to me. Me car would not start sometimes. I found out by bypassing the msd and going back to stock that it would turn on. I bought a new coil and replaced the old one still noting.So the last thing was the msd box. I sent it to there repair shop and its worked ever since. They did not tell me what was wrong with it but I always keep my OEM coil in the trunk just in case! O BTW I have a MSD SCI box.

Does it go out on you often? And which coil are you using? Anyway this is my second box, the first one fried on me...so if this one goes, i'm just going to remove it permanently.

 

the digital 6 with an hvc killed my ignitor after about 8 months of use...
