ok i posted a day ago about having some issues with the car starting. as i said i was low on gas and the car died.. well i put gas in an still wouldnt start.. thought maybe it was the pump so it was replaced. turns out it wasnt getting power so thought it was the main relay and ordered that from honda. it got here to day and i swapped that out and still no power to the pump. checked the old pump out and its still good so my question is, is there a fel cut switch on the preludes that im missing?? its a 93 si. either a fuel cut off switch or a relay for it? ive tried everything im in desparate need for the car to run. its getting spark, just no fuel, the pump doesnt turn on at all. any opinions??????

 

bad ground or short possibly. someone may have installed a cut switch unless you are the orig owner. may sound stupid but did you check the fuse? sometimes its the little things

 

i cannot find a fuse for it..

 

Check all your fuses, underhood and underdash

 

ill give it a shot..

 

its on the inside fuse block. can't remember which one, but if i get a chance i'll find it. it should say fuel on the block diagram on the fuse box door tho.

 

found out the backup fuse wasnt making connection. problem solved. my car is running again. yay.

 

good to hear. at elast they let you return the fuel pump
