Default map sensor question

I was wondering if you can hook up the map sensor in a different spot on the intake manifold or can it be only hooked up on the one part of throttle body. Since I can't use that plug on the throttle body what are my options?

Anywhere behind the throttle butterfly should work ok.

Yeah that's what I thought. Turns out I have a different problem. I have water coming out the exhaust. Not coolant, but actual H2O. I ran it for a long time and the water seems to stop coming out, but it still runs the same. We'll see if water comes out when I start it again tomarrow. Any ideas?

it's normal to have no power, sputtering, and shooting water out the exhaust for about a half hour? I would really like to get this running right again.
