Default Map Sensor Code

95 h22 swap in a 92 si w/ a p28....car ran fine with swap for 4,000 and the all of a sudden today it started acting up....i changed the map sensor with a spare, still a code.....tried my buddies ecu, and still had a code...i was just looking at a diagram and the map sensor has 3 prongs...i know the middle wire goes to the ecu pinout (d17) im not sure about the other two...might be power and ground???? can any1 confirm this? im gonna try to run a wire straight to the ecu tomorrow to the singal on the map and see if it removes the code, but i would like to know what the other two wires run to...thanx

Did you get rid of the code? I've been dealing with an intermittent code 3 for two years now and can't get it fixed. Just wondering what you did to take care of it

yep its gone...the 3 big main plugs where the engine harness and dash harness connect, one of them wasnt fully plugged in and it was a bitch to get it to plug all the way in....guess it could lose contact once in a while.

I'm gonna have to look into that. WOnder if that could be my problem as well. Has been happening more consistently lately. I'm willing to try anything that doesn't require me spending more money to fix this problem.
