Low compression help!
Did a compression test on the weekend and found out one of cylinders is pretty low. I got 160, 162, 158 and 100. We did a "wet test" and pin pointed it to be mostly likely by my rings. Now what should I do?
Rebuild?
Ride it out?
swap?
The car runs fine and would even notice a thing. Will this get worse over time?

it will cost a lot if you cant do it yourself. if you knew how to tear it down and rebuild it i would say def go for it but your going to spend a grip. the rings are cheap but its just a matter of paying someone to do it. you could help yourself out if you could take it out and take the head and tranny off. then take it to a machine shop. it will prolly run you about 200-300 worse case. but you can ride it out. i would beat it down though. it will eventually start smoking and then you will get some blow back.
well i would do the bearings..rear main seal, front seal. replace timing and water pump. hot tank the block. thats about it though..you can get the seals for about 25.00 timing belt 100.00, bearings 65.00, hot tank 40.00, and not sure on water pump. not too much though.
