looking for b20 engine
IMO, the b20 is fine, theres just not as much aftermarket support for it. The b21 is garbage. Heres a good place to buy engines.

well, having driven my 89 lude with the 2.0 and then with the 2.1 installed into it, i can say the 2.1 is a better motor. both motors ran great without any problems. the only thing i have wrong with the 2.1 is that burning oil problem. however, with one quart of lucas, i haven't lost any oil in over a month. before you go too gungho with a motor swap into that car, you need to make sure you can get a transmission that will work with your shift linkage. the 88-91 ludes have cable shifters. i don't know what kind of shift linkage the 86 has, but you may have to change over the whole shifter and cables too. you will also need to get some custome axles made. the 86 is an inch or two shorter across than the 3rd gen. you will also need a custom exhaust to bolt up to the b20 exhaust manifold/header. you should be able to use the wiring harness and ecu from which ever motor you go with. everything else is basically the same between generations. the plugs should all match up. just do a little research before trying to put in the b20 motor. good luck.
i'd say put a B18A, DOHC non-VTEC 2nd gen Integra engine in it
will everything bolt up? like the axels the exhauset the harness? and the shifter? where could i find one?
The funny thing is, there are 3 versions of the B20 motor.
In 86, they released a very rare JDM B20A that put out ~160hp. Then they released a JDM B20A in the 88-91 Prelude which output ~145hp. The funky thing is, the super rare JDM B20A from 86 is *not* the same as the common 88-91 B20A that everyone knows of.
Then you have the CRV engines

The 86 B20As had the same bore x stroke, but I suspect it has a higher compression ratio as well as hotter cams...
