lean problem?
Ok here is the story. I had an f22b JDM Si motor and it had bad hesitations periodically. Finally it snapped a timing belt and drove my valves into my pistons on the freeway (ugly site). Well I decided to get an h22 and install it hoping that the hesitation or bogging would go away. I was wrong. I recently hooked up a a/f gauge (autometer) which took me forever to install because there were no lights showing until I gas it to about 7k rpm and then I see two red bars indicating lean then they would disappear. I see this as a big problem... why is my car running that lean? For reference I replaced the starter, fuel pump/filter/regulator, plugs and plug wires, and dizzy cap and rotor. Engine is pretty much stock with intake and exhaust. Thanks for the help.
