i've got a 99 prelude i just rebuilt. i went to start it and it had no fuel or spark. i figured it was because there's no knock sensor hooked up. so i tried my chipped(h22 basemap) p28 and it starts but runs like crap.

is it true that with the stock ecu, an obd2 prelude won't start without the knock sensor hooked up?
