Programing new keys for 2001 prelude (immobilizer)
Had a new set of keys cut for prelude (2001) at Honda dealership, gave them one master key only. The key I left at home doesn't work anymore so I am thinking programing the keys are something like programing the keyless remotes, must do all of them at the same time. Does anybody know the story on the procedure for teaching the car to learn the keys (immobilizer).
If you buy one of these cars and your not sure if your the only one with valid keys this procedure would be the way to make those other rogue keys useless.
