Default KEEP or DON'T KEEP...that is the Question.

I have a 95 Prelude VTEC with 107,000...leather....sunroof...fast car. But, I don't know whether to keep the Lude or sell it and try to get another car, like a Civic HB or an integra. I just don't know what to do with the car. If you guys could help me out with any suggestions. Let me know. Oh yeah....Important part....I don't have a job to throw around cash like you guys.

Thanks,
Nate

hmmm well its your personal preference, but i would definitely keep the lude if I was in your shoes. keep in mind that the 95 vtec lude can be considered kinda as the best year for mods as its still OBD1. 4th gen vtec's come with leather and everything too!! What's your reason for giving all that up for a hatch or an integ?
hmmm maybe if you wanted to build a race car but IMO, that lude is great for a street car to start out with.... the 2.2 liter for some nice torque and low end regular city driving, AND high end VTEC kick...

If you need cash a 95 VTEC is good to sell b/c it
s rare and in demand = more $$$

But obviously we're biased and would say keep it...

You should definately keep it instead of getting a HB or integra - LIKE EVERYBODY AND THEIR MOTHER ALREADY HAS, unless you can get your hands on a type r, of course. Next, get a job and turn that sucker into a street menace.

If you want to go fast for cheap get an integra or a hatch and drop an H22a into it. I don't care what car it is, as long as it has an H22A for a heart.

Thanks for the Advice Guys...I think I'll keep it...but I have an H23A1 in my Prelude....I guess that's not an H22A. So now should I get rid of it? But thanks for your help.

fast car? this the same "fast" car that lost to the contour? or whatever it was that you should've been ahead of by at least 10 car lengths, and then you proceeded to do a ricer fly by in? And is this "fast" car, the same one that you have this mysterious force inside known as VTEC, which you don't know the meaning of?

lol

just kidding bro, giving u a hard time for your newbieness i think you should ditch the car, and get a 5th gen prelude. i love mine

I saw what my engine read and it is an H23A1. That disappointed me cause it only has 160hp, instead of the H22A that has 190hp. I guess I'll keep the Prelude and just get a paint job, Apexi N1 exhaust, and an AEM CAI. Theres no point in spending a lot of doe on it if it's going to die at 200,000 miles. Thanks for ya help

good grief! you're finding out just now that it's an H23 and not a H22?! you should sell the Lude right away and get yourself a Geo metro or something

j/k MRVTEC, why not rebuild it or just get a newer 4G/5G VTEC with less mileage?
