allright i drive a 95 si prelude, but i swapped in a non vetech h22.. dont ask.. it just recently started giving me ****, at lower rpms the motor kinda stalls and jumps around now, almost like its not getting fuel.. when i drive it, its basically like the first tim you taught a girl to drive a stick how the cars jumping all over the place shitty take offs just not good, it even will stall sometimes while iding. but higher rpms it seems to be fine and does not hiccup.. any body have a similar problem with a simple fix? i also replaced my fuel filter after this problem started hopeing it was it..

theres not a non vtec h22....

did u get a jdm F22B? If thats the case, are u getting a Check Engine Light.... chances are its your knock sensor, because that engine doesnt have a spot for one.

 

im not sure what i have i believe motor came out of an accord. my engine light has been on before my i did the swap

 

You need to find the codes 1st. that will help you on what is wrong with your car. but sounds like your engine is running on 3 cylinder. Check your wires and plugs?

 

checked all that, new plug wires were put on.. car will run fine sometimes then it just starts acting up.. like minute to minute.. it runs on all four cylinders it just cuts out and drop rpms out of no where..

 

are you running rich? what is the engine code?

 

Im really betting he has a previous CEL, swapped in the jdm f22b (that is of course, a JDM prelude si engine and an accord engine), which does not have a knock sensor, and thats why its acting retarded. Is there a lot of hesitation / bogging, especially from a stop / low rpm's when the CEL is on? In the high rpm's does it run pretty much normal except the occassional-or-so bogging?
