Honda Accord SV4 (1994) same engine problems after engine swap
My stock honda Accord SV4 2.0 enigine was literally finished, towards its end my D4 light used to blink, check engine light comes on and the speedometer would act crazy or die. I was done spending on repairs as i repaired the gas kit 3 times so i decided to swap the engine. I put in H22 DOHC VTEC (black top) hoping to start a new life with this but just on my second drive after i picked up my car from the garage with the H22 installed, I drove estimate 50-60 KM and the nightmare started again.
First the D4 light started to blink, eventually later CEL came on and now the speedometer is dead acting up. History is repeating it self as my mechanic is saying its just the speed sensor problem, but I dont believe as this happened before to my stock engine and it started blowing pipes, all my tranny fluid used to leak out on the road. I checked on the internet ppl have had this issue but now im having this issue even on a enigine swap...
Please some help, i was very excited to in H22A. Im in a very bad level i can just burn the car 😢😡😠

If the D4 light is blinking then there is a problem with the transmission or its sensors.
Pull the code(s).
Post the code number(not description) back in this thread.
If the D4 code was blinking before the engine swap then it was most likely a transmission issue. If the TCU/ECU detects a problem, if it is severe enough, the ECU/TCU will put the powertrain into limp mode.

Probably you have a transmission issue ... not engine issue. Have your transmission checked by your mechanic. if the CEL (check Engine Light stays on) .. you may have your codes read for you at your mechanic's ... or see videos how to read them by your self.

If the transmission is the original unit then it is still most likely the cause of the issue.
SV4 really doesn't mean anything to me. Is it a 94-97 USDM style of Accord? These are known as 'CD' Accords or 5th generation.
You should be able to find a blue two wire connector under/behind the glove box door.
Pull it down and jumper it with a wire.
Turn your ignition switch to II(ON) and watch for any blinking codes from the CEL or D4 lamp.
Write them down and post back here.
