Default Jdm H22a Coolant Temp Sensor HELP!!!

im using my h23 wiring harness on the jdm h22a. and came across a lil problem. i noticed there was one plug not connected to the sensor. and noticed the Coolant Temp Sensor Did not come with the Jdm h22a. Should i change the whole thing with the sensor already on it or just leave it. will i need that sensor? since it didnt come with the engine.

Well that is for fan switch B, since the fan controller is on the chassis I would run the second switch.

you don't need the sensor, all is does it keep the fans running while the car is off if it detects the coolant is hot at that point.

there is another sensor that monitors the temp while the car is on so this one works when the car is off.

you could swap the pieces between the engines but it might start to leak and give you problems.

I left mine off for now

you don't need that extra sensor (ECT switch B aka fan switch that turns on the fan when cooling fluid is too hot), but if your going to run buddy club racing fan switch then you will need the accord one that has that switch b on it because the buddy club sensor won't bolt on to the one on the back(in thermostat housing).

not shore about the sensor in front but the one behind it with the green plug you need, you won't get vtec without it

this sensor (fan switch B) (the sensor that goes to the piece where the upper rad hose connects to the head) only turns the fans on when the car is off. so if you're overheating when the car is on you have other problems.

the green sensor connected to the thermostat (fan switch a) turns the fans on when the car is on, so if the fans aren't coming on when the car is on and heated up check that sensor.
Also check the lower rad hose to make sure it is warming up (after the car has warmed up obviously) to make sure your thermostat isn't stuck.

I have a sensor on the JDM thermostat housing that's green. On my H23 harness, will I have a plug that connects to that????? I swapped the coolant necks on the front of the head for "fan switch B" so that should be good.
In short, I need the fan to turn on when its 100* out and I'm sitting in traffic.

the white connector is the coolant temp sensor for the ecu I think. The one next to it is for the temp gauge. The coolant neck on the front side of the motor is supposed to have "fan switch B" and then the other fan switch is in the thermostat housing.

What color wires go to all the coolant sensors? I’m lost and can’t find the sensor that goes to the coolant neck
