Re: (mgags7)
I think i found wat i need...just dont know where to connect the black yellow wire.....says to a power source....?
2000 prelude distributor, ext coil, and CKP/TDC sensor wires (labels & colors)
here is also the ecu locations for obd2 for each of these wires.
4 wires go to CKP/TDC sensor ontop of the crankshaft:
C3 - TDC - GRN
C13 - TDCM - RED
C2 - CKP - BLU
C12 - CKPM - WHT
distributor:
C4 - CYP - YEL
C14 - CYPM - BLK
A20 - ICM - YEL/GRN
tachometer - BLU(should be on 2 prong plug)
EXTERNAL IGNITION COIL will have 3 wires coming out of it. 2 connect to the distributor and 1 goes to a power source.:
GRN@coil, GRN@dizzy - connects coil to dizzy
YEL@coil, BLK/YEL@dizzy- connects coil to dizzy (should be a LARGE wire)
BLK/YEL - connects coil to power source.

is this true? Ive been readin and i found this
edit: another thing to worry about is that your jdm distributor is internal coil and that will be more wiring. you'll have to run the black/yellow wire from the old external coil plug to the black/yel that goes into the dist, you can simply pull the pin out of the connector and pop the new one in. the other two wires that run to the coil can be discarded.

Re: (JDMRice)
turns out the "genious" who did the injector resistor box wiring, must have thrown in an extra ground....as the smoke came from the inside of the car, so now the dash gets come out and have a hew harness installed...
the car started and ran fine...for like 5min...then poof

all you have to do is run the +12v wire to the distributor, it is the thick black wire with a yellow stripe.
Just remove the pin from the clip where the yellow one goes in now, and plug the blk/yel one in.

Re: (JDMRice)
Out of curiousity, can we not use the same CKF trick that can be used on civics and integras when putting OBD1 motors in OBD2 cars?
