ITBs + filtering?
Although I didn't go with an N/A setup, I'm curious about the people running ITB's and having them run unfiltered. Isn't that really bad for your engine to run them like that? Kinda like turbo guys not filtering their turbo's cold side?

the dirt that would be filtered by a filter goes into the engine. If they make it past the valves, and aren't burned in the combustion chamber...they could gaul cylinder walls if the dirt is big enough. My engine bay gets dirty as hell from the dust and dirt floating around in the air.
SOMEONE plz correct me if i'm wrong.

Yeah not filtering air going into your engine is a bad thing... i would think that most of the pictures you see with no filters is just for show or they have a engine bay so clean you can eat off of... Also moisture is bad to your engine... Or maybe im totally wrong lol...
i never ran a filter on my H and my intake ended with the air being forced into the intake tube between the radiator and the headlight on the passenger side. i never ran into any issue, but with a long tube and large diameter piping, nothing sizable can really get up in there except maybe a small bird...
but especially with our engines, they sit at the back and point at the cowl, unless you're on a rally course nothing is really going to get back there, filters are...meh
