Intermittent Reverse gear.
So I open my lude up for a lil bit cuz she needs to be driven, I seemed to have rode the clutch a bit so have that nasty smell going on. I pull in to a gas station and it didn't want to go into reverse, I tried everything and she didn't go. I drove a bit and tried to put in in reverse and was having a hard time with it all 5 of the other gears would go but it would not go into reverse. I would come to a dead stop and would not go in reverse. (I know about the preventative feature that keeps you from going in reverse while moving forward.) I am thinking that it's the syncros but I am not sure. I just need a lil help. I am still learning about these things, so the help would be nice. TIA

the clutch seems to be fine. Its grabbing like it supposed to its just having a hard time going in to reverse every now and again. I better check the mtf...
You probably just need to adjust the linkage.
FYI - the reverse gear IS NOT SYNCHRONIZED like the forward gears. Reverse doesn't have synchronizers on ANY manual trans.
