I was searching around for aftermarket intake manifolds to use with a NOS fogger system. I foudn one made by Venom at http://www.venom-performance.com. but am not sure if it would match up or not. Can anyone help me? Or if you no of other intake manifolds that would work, please let me know.

Are you sure, cause I heard that it might not be coming out until they know the demand is there, How is skunk2 with prices? I know of their qualitly, but not sure on prices. If it was going to be reasonable in price, that would be a great option. I am still up in the air about the whole plate kit vs. DP fogger kit, but I have been leaning toward the DP fogger, especially since the fate of the plate kit is still unsure, probably a 50/50 shot of coming out.

The manifold should be around $300. BTW when are you ordering your nitrous? Mine will be getting ordered on Monday, so I can hopefully take alot of pics of the install to help you out.

I am not going to spray until early summer, so I am not in a huge hurry, but to tell you the truth, I cant find that many stock to performance replacement parts for the Lude. I would definately appreciate the pics of the install, I am sure they will come in handy. I just found the info on the Venom manifold, adn it does work for the Lude, just need to find a price.

are you serious $300? i would think theyd be at least $600....

Toretto, seriously, you *dont* need a new intake manifold if you are so worried about it, have NOS build you a plate kit. they make them.

peace

Yes, this was my first idea, but the plate kit has not been completed yet, and dont know if it will ever be. Once, again, I need the intake manifold so I can return the car to stock if needed. I will call NOS to see if the plate kit has come any farther along, but I doubt it has.

Just called NOS, talked to a rep, no go on the plate kit. Its no farther along this month than it was last month. I asked if I should just go with the fogger system, and he said yes, but I might have a problem installing it, because of room issues. DP fogger it is.

The Venom manifolds are about 500, so hopefully the skunk manifold comes out before summertime and is cheaper, otherwise, the Venom is my only choice I have found.

Someone mentioned earlier that the Venom manifolds for the H22a aren't actually produced even though they're advertised. I haven't asked them directly, but I haven't even heard of anyone that has one. Can anyone confirm that these things are actually available and not just advertised?

Skunk2 manifolds for the b18/b16 are clones of the Type R manifold and sell for $300. Those large box shaped manifolds like the Venom manifold are only worth it when revving very high or boosting. Otherwise, atleast with the case of the bseries Skunk2 vs the Venom, they arent worth the extra $300 for one.

Well, I will be using it for nitrous, so would it be worth it then? I didnt even think of it, but does Venom have the manifold ready for sale? I hate when companies do that, advertise a product they dont even make.

I hope that Skunk2 manifold does come out soon, just took a look at the manifolds for the Civics, and they look nice. Plus, teh price looks a little nicer than that of the Venom.
