How long did it take you. I'm doing this for my brother-in law. I installed the CAI myself on my 97 CL with no problem. It took me about 2 1/2 hours.

dont forget that u need to make the hole a little bigger, where the intake runs out of the engine bay in front of the right wheel well with a hack saw, or dremel...

You actually dont need to make it any biger on the 4th gen's. You just have to force it a little and it should slide right in!

how hard was the install? I am going to try it this weekend by myself.
the instructions on ntpog seem easy enough, although the pics are of a 5th gen and kind of dark.
So far i have done my suspension and brakes, although i had a friend watching over my shoulder drinking beer and keeping me out of trouble.

they are easy to install, it took me about an hour and a half. the only thing that took a little effort was the metal section of vacumm line that comes off the valve cover. kinda had to force the rubber hose in between the the intake and metal section.

yeah, you have to modify the hole.

It helps to have a can of primer, and a small can of "replica" paint just to cover it up.

it's a piece of cake once you get in there and get your hands on it. It isn't hard, everything just seems to follow one step after another.

I wrote up something for it on our website, but Mike hasn't put it up yet, so I can't tell you the specific details. Sorry.
