Ignition timing adjustment ?'s
I've done a search and I know how its done now, but I still have a question. I want to know if this would be a wise thing to do on a somewhat built motor that has not seen a bit of tuning at all..or does it really not matter as long as I dont get to crazy and cause detonation??
Or should i leave that biotch alone untill I get on the dyno?
TIA

When are you getting your dyno done? I dont know if I would mess with it too much.. You had it bad *** fast and then fast... I say if dyno runs in the next month man then just wait for it... Where you getting it dynoed?
What all you got done to the motor? If it's still tuned stock, then you can run 3-4 degrees advance all day. I do ~4, my friend runs full advance daily, and it hasn't broke yet in a month. Then again, he's almost TRYING to kill his H23 to get a H22....3-4 degrees, and you'll love the new torque
I dont know when im getting it tuned. Its probably goin to the dyno in the next couple months. LOL...tough trying to pay rent, fix my car, and save for a GIXXER 600 at the same time.
I guess i'm goin to try bumping it up 1 degree and go from there.
