i have a h22a with a crane ignition system,fireball coil ,i think its my problem
the problem is my rotor gets burnt every 2 months half of the metel suface on the rotor turns black and top end performance lacks and misses big time.
i have replaced my dist.,ignitor,cap,and 6 rotors in 6 months !!
so my question is i want to bring the ingnition back to stock .
if i get a used coil from a h22 or h23 will that bypass that whole system
and all i do is install the coil wich shoudent be that hard?? any opinions or help would be helpfull this problem has gone on for to long i needs some help!!!

A good idea would be to get the install instructions for the aftermarket ignition you have and work backwards using the instructions.

 

the thing is i bought the car with the system in it i have no instructions

 

contact the company and request the instructions or they may have them on their website.

 

allright thats what i,ll do.
just changed my rotor today, same thing half of the contact surface is burnt to a crisp!
ill try to post some pics
