Default Ignited Push Button Ignition...

Hey everyone... I just got my Ignited **** and I have one question... where should I splice into the ignition wire? Do I need to take off the steering column cover, or is there a better place to find the ignition wire? Thanx!

The cover will need to be removed and you splice into the starter cable behind the ignition barrel. If its an illuminated one u'll eed to connectto the accessory cable and an earthig point also to make it light up!

You do know you will still need to put the key in to take off your steering lock? and those buttons are usually available from http://www.maplin.co.uk for a quarter of the price!

Thanks for answering my question! I do know about all the stuff you mentioned and I know that I still need the key... not only to disengage my wheel lock, but also to turn off my Immobilizer system... Thanks for the help man!

"-4" goes to direct power from battery when car is on, "-3" splices into ignition wire, "x2" goes to ground, and "x1" goes to a power supply that is either on when the car is on or when your dash lighting is on

the ignition and direct power (for ignition) wire share a 3 pin wiring harness under the steering collumn. If you take off the trim piece right under the steering wheel you will see them... one is white and the other is black and white.... if you need more help I can e-mail you a picture and some installation tips...

if yall want I can write up my installation on here with a few pics of the finnished product...
