That plug is waaay rich. If you're that far off on the mixture then it will definately cause start and idle issues.

Do all the plugs look like that? The VTEC solenoid should not cause your engine to run rich it will just limit the use of VTEC. These are your stock injectors, stock ECU and stock FPR? How old is your O2 sensor? Is it totally sooted up too? Beg/borrow/steal a different O2 sensor and see what happens with that.

Yea everything is stock! I have a feeling my wire harness had a break somewhere. I'm throwing in the towel and towing it to a shop tomorrow morning The O2 sensor looked clean *cry

ended up being the vtec solenoid. When I took the solenoid off to clean it, the piston fell out. I guess there's a spring on the bottom of it that keeps it "loaded". Damn spring!

oh and my knock senor was busted.

Car runs good now, just passed smog
