hey guys, yesterday i started my car like normal and was drivin out of my neighborhood and all of sudden the engine started to surge and loose power..... then when i got to a stop the idel is jumpin around from 1000 to 1500 like every second or so its very consistant. Now and it also threw a code but i havent checked to see which one it is but i figured it had somethin to do with the IAC so i was lookin at the plugs on the TB and i unplugged the connector that is right on top of the TB im pretty sure its the IAC and the idle smoothed out but once connected again it started stumbling around and what not makin it extremely hard to drive at low speeds in town.

Is the IAC the problem and if so do i just need to get a new sensor deal that goes on the TB and if so how much are these thigns?

 

Clean your IAC valve
Clean your EGR valve
Maybe run some Sea Foam through

 

if your talking about the sensor right on top of the tb its the map sensor

 

yea i feel like a friggin idiot....

one of the caps for the vacuum lines on the side of the intake manifold, the one for the butterfly in the lower intake box, came off and i just noticed that a lil bit ago so i got some better ones from oreilys today.. my advice never used those colored ones they are way to flimsy and dont fit tight enough...
