IACV Problem
Ok this isn't your ordinary iavc problem. Now I know its the systems of the iacv the reving up and down of the motor. Ok now will this be caused because I just learned that the hose for the egr is not hooked up. There are other few hoses that aren't hooked up can someone show me there setup and see where all these hoses are supposed to be hooked up too.
Will misplacement of the hoses cause the iacv sensor to go off?
Also if i unclip it what will happen
This might be confusing so if it is just tell me and i'll try to explain again to the point of where you got lost

The iacv will through a cel the moment you turn on the car with the sensor
unplugged. As far as hoses go you should have two of them running coolant
through the iacv. You will have one hose coming from the fast idle thermo valve
(fitv) which is bolted to the botton of your tb. The connection should be the one
right under the bore of the tb to the one on the left of the iacv. The second hose
runs from under the iacv back into the engine. As far as your car revving up and
down, sounds like a vaccum leak and if the hose to the egr isn't hooked up that
might be a probable cause. If your gonna scrap the egr you have to block it off
and seal it. By any chance have you tried doing a coolant bypass mod? Let me
know if any of this helps or isn't clear.

all i have to say is check ur pcv valve before u buy any other parts. I had the idle **** happen to my car, and i went crazy to fix it and bought a brand new iacv and fitv, just to find out that my pcv valve was smashed to oblivion. If it comes down to you needing an iacv, i'll sell u the one i just bought for $50 less than honda charges. it's practicly brand new, and i'm looking to get some of my money back on this **** anyways
going by your avatar I'm guessing you may not have this motor in a lude, but if you do the diagram should be on the underside of the hood.
