Default how to run a code?

I know how to run a code that stays on, but i'm having issues with running codes that disappear after you turn the car off or to accessory mode. I have an abs code that appears (i know it's a speed sensor) but I can't run the code and figure out exactly which wheel because when i'm done driving and turn the car off to jump the plug with a paper clip the code is gone and there is nothing left to read. Please advise guys. I can't put a paper clip in the plug while it is live either, **** shocks me lol.

Sounds like you are going to be chasing your tail in this case since you can't read the code as soon as your car is turned off and then turned to the ACC mode. If you know its one of your wheel sensors try inspecting everyone of them and start there. Check for rips or tears in the wiring, and try cleaning them as well. Just try that before spending a lot of money on new sensors.

While the car is running, dont use a paper clip, use a piece of insulated wire with the ends stripped back. Ive done that many times on my civic and my buddies 2000 prelude and have never been shocked. Good luck.

Or buy the actual jumper tool from Honda for $10 and never have to screw with paper clips or wire again

If the code is not being stored in memory, there may be a problem with the ABS CPU. You might be best off taking this one to Honda or a qualified technician, simply because they can read the code in real time with a Honda PGM tester and take the guess-work out of it.
