01 ss, stock, 81k, 80% highway: 28-29mpg, 320-350 miles per fill up.

I'm not sure if the low light even works on this lude, lol. I probably use VTEC once per fill up. My 97 got 25mpg mostly because I drove about 50:50.

my 92 at 89K miles. 22mpg is the best i get 50% highway. get about 30mpg if i drive slow or long trips

I used to get 30 hwy on my H22a Prelude. It was stock besides Header, full 2.5in exhaust, and was running with a P28 ecu with the IABs deleted.

I was also running 195/55/15 tires. The size difference may should not have made more than a 2% difference in mileage reading though, but I think the smaller contact patch helped mileage, plus, that size is way cheaper than the stock 205/55/15.

I average about 28 mpg, considering that the cost of petro is slowly rising. thats about 30-40 dollars a week. traveling both highway and city..

but i have a h23vtec matted with an f22 trans.. in which i only see vtec in the first and second gear.. unless i really get on it..
80 mph at 3200 rpm in 5 gear.

right now she's my daily i'm getting 29-30mpg i do about 50/50 city-highway. I get like ~380-400 to a tank. Just a F22 with i/h/e that number will be soon cut in half once my builds done...lol

I'll usually put in 11-12 gallons and get 290-320 miles/tank, 90% city style driving. It's swapped with an H23, and I am very impressed with the gas mileage. It easily pulled 37mpg on a highway trip I took to pick up my other car, and that was at 80mph.

I actually just checked it today and ended up with a calculated 32 mpg combined (city/hwy).

Just filled up Monday and got 24.5 mpg and that's after a day autocrossing. Normal is around 25 to 26 on a warm week.

My best was 33 when I took a trip to Indiana all highway and drafting trucks.

Wow either i drive my car ruff or something is wrong. Havent done a real calculation but most ive done is a little over 220 maybe 250 i average about 30-35 miles a day both City and Highway probally 60% city 40% HWY. 5th gen Base 66k original miles SS Tranny.... But then again everything is stock and original except engine oil and tranny oil and i can hear my valves clap. Tune-up and Valve adjustment hear i come!!

1995 w/ H22A1, just got 410kms with 2 bars left...that converts to 254 miles. took it to VTEC 10x but other than that I drove very conservatively...coast in neutral to stop, shift before 3k and a whole ton of highway driving 25/75 (city/highway).

I know it can do better than that. not sure if this affects anything but it sat 6 months this winter with a full tank + fuel stabilizer & anti freeze, and when I took the car out I added fuel injector cleaner. so a lot of additives.

I get about 26/27mpg even with VTEC.

H23A with bolt-ons tuned on Neptune.

Costs about $53-58 to fill up. (~12-13 gal.)

Normally, I drive about 75% city and get 22-23 MPG.

When i take a trip and drive mainly highway miles i get about 27 MPG.

I've got an 01 ss. replaced primary 02 sensor (was orignal) got +1 mpg!!! avg 250-280 per tank(fill up).

nope. im 100% sure its his tune because before that i had 21-22. lol ~250miles to a tank and 14gal. 92octane.

Filled up again, 31.5mpg. This tank had more real time driving, traffic, commuting, etc. I also think its running rich because some black smoke will come out of exhaust on occasion. All stock except for a test pipe, which I hear a little smoke is normal and Honda has a tendency to run cars rich from the factory. I will be replacing spark plugs soon as i am unsure when that was last done. Nothing like my 38mpg ek hatch I replaced but it sure is a lot more fun to drive.

Coasting down in neutral uses more gas than leaving it in gear. Our ludes cut the injectors on coast down in gear so you burn nothing. If you put it in neutral, it has to burn fuel to keep the engine running.

I get 400 miles per fill up on my 92 with jdm h22a with m2b4 trans (80k on engine) hitting vtec several times a day. Engine is stock apart from aem intake and 2.25 exhaust (stock header) Tire size is 215/40zr17 and my actual speed while at 120 mph (speedo reading) is is 111 (verified by radar on a runway)

Nice. And I posted that last year around this time, I was still quite a n00b to driving standard and didn't know any better haha now in my 3rd gen I just leave it in gear and downshift a couple gears as necessary.

im getting 25 avg mpg currently, new plugs + f22a tranny, the only thing that tranny is good for, mpg ftw!
