guys i need a freaking standard so bad....but in the meantime untill i do the swap i want to learn how to launch the auto ss....whats the best way...and what do auto ss run for 1/4 mile my friends boyfriend has a 5th gen auto from boston and was completley stock besides plugs wires and short ram intake and ran a 15.9

I would take it easy on the ss automatic if you like a form of transportation.
They are known to have many problems and trying to hotrod one isnt going to help.

If you are serious about keeping your lude then start saving and researching( the FAQ'S is a good place to start) for the 5-spd swap.

Or you can just hold the brake, floor the gas and let off the brake. dont blame me when your **** goes "clank".

 

aww ur funny....that sounds fun ill do the hold break floor gas...will the breaks be able to hold that power how far do i rev it...yes i realize the auto sux...just got a new one and i wont launch to much just a few times lol

yeah jeez... u just got a new auto tranny and u want to move onto the next? but if you must, e-brake as high as u can + brake as hard as u can + mash.. good to go. (well not really, ur tranny's gonna explode.. hope the prelude gets to ride you like that.)
