how does air get into the cooling system?

Default how does air get into the cooling system?


if i open my radiator cap to fill it up with some fluids, is air getting in there and making air pockets?

no it won't get air in if you are filling it. i hope you let the car cool first then it will be fine. do you have air in there now cuz then you will have to bleed the system.

Yea no air will get in, Just make sure to get all the air out of the lines by starting it with the cap off (preferably when cold) and then squeez tubes starting with the bottem untill you get all the air bubbles out.
