how bad will it sound?
how bad is it gonna sound if i ran without a resonator on 2.5" piping?
im wondering if i can get away without having to buy one. im not into that raspy ricer sound. and any recommendations on a muffler. im gonna be getting a cat sound high flow cat.

If you get a straight through muffler without a resonator it's going to be really loud and usually very raspy. If you get a baffled muffler it's probably ok.
I recently tried an ES Tuning muffler. I got it because it is stockish looking (can get it black or polished) but is also straight through. Comes in 2.25 or 2.5 inlet and outlet. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. It's a little louder than my old apexi WS exhaust but not much. I have a large resonator though. Heres a crappy clip. I'm hoping to get a driveby version soon too.

i want it a little more louder.
i have a 4 to 1 header with 2.5" down pipe right now. i think getting a new cat and rear section in 2.5" piping would free up some more horsies.
anyone ever do a dyno with stock exhaust vs aftermarket?
