What's up ppl I gt this problem on ma prelude 1997 automatic when I drive around dnt matter wuts the distance n I'm about to get to a stop rite when I stop the next second ma car lik pulls bak a little I'm thinking tranny problems bt at the same time ma tranny shifts smoth goes into every gear lik nothing any comments will help thanks

 

I had that same problem when my prelude was automatic a while back, i ended up changing the trans. oil and replaced it with some new Honda atf.....it helped for a while but eventually my transmission gave up :/ auto preludes have issues for some reason :/....the best advice from auto prelude owner to owner is to save up some cash for a manual swap....trust me thats what i ended up doing and its worth every penny :D

 

 

Yes get your atf changed, most likely you need to go to the stealership and get it done there because they can flush the entire system and replace it with genuine stuff, draining it yourself you wont get enough out to really make a difference.

 

Have you been using the electro-shift? I hear all the time about it slowly ruining those auto trans. Fresh fluid sounds like it would help. Maybe Torque converter inst spinning enough to stop car from rolling? Not to savvy with autos.
