help with starting issue
hey, I recently had my engine rebuilt and now i'm having problems starting. Every once in a while it will start perfectly fine. but mostly it will start up once and if i dont give it gas it will bog down. and after it boggs i can try as much as i'd like and it will just crank. it will turn over every once in a while but just for a second but it wont stay running. I have a new starter, new spark plugs and wires, and the car has spark and fuel. any help on what else may happen? or if i need to post new info??

So you tried all your spark plugs on a part of the block while you crank your car to see that they all have spark?
So the starter you replaced was the solinoid?
If you have a multimeter you should test the resistances on the coil pack.
>.6ohms for primary and 18k ohms accross the secondary coil.
Sounds like an intermittant problem or no? Does it start better in any better weather conditions??

hot or cold it doesnt matter. how is it i test the coil? its basically intermittent that it actually starts and normally doesnt. ya the solinoid was replaced.
new update. decided to replace spark plug wires and looked at the spark plugs and the plug closest to the passenger side was black on the first like centimeter of it. the rest had wet gas on that portion. all but the first was wet with gas. replaced the main relay today too. any suggestions?
