Default Help with my problem.

Ok I have a 95 motor (H23vtec) with a V-AFC installed right now. I am getting the MAP code (3) and can not clear it. I checked continuty between the red/wht and body ground=good. Checked the red/wht and blu/wht=good, checked the wht/blu and blu/wht=good. (this is on the MAP sensor). Checked voltage on D17 and D21 and there is no voltage. Now th e ECU is good, and the MAP is good. I tried them in another lude. My VAFC pressure reading is at -760 and does not move evan at WOT. I checked all connections and all look good. Is there something I missed here? How can there be no pressure in the IM? All bolts are tight, and there are no leaks. Also I am sure it is because of the code, but it cuts off at 6500 when driving. But that is most likey from the CEL. Someone please help me. If someone has a a VAFC can you post all your settings? Let me see if something is up? Also tried by passing the signal wire and still no pressure reading. I tried to unistall the VAFC but it still trew code 3 and then code 22 popped up. When I re-installed the VAFC code 22 went away but 3 was still there. I intialized the vafc back to zero everything still didn't work. Keep the sugestions coming. This is really starting to get under my skin. The VAFC is also reading the pressure voltage at 0.000v so there is nothing there. Also I tried to install the P14 ECU I have to see if maybe it was a flaw in the P13 but still got the code so that is not it either.

have you checked all your vacuum lines? Take them off make sure nothing somehow got in there. Make sure there are no holes or breaks in them.

There are no vacuum leaks. (that would be code 5) This has to be electrical. I just can't think anymore so I need new ideas. Thanks though.

well it was alittle hard to read your post due too the lack of spacing. the next time you write something that long space it out a little bit.

now on to your problem, i'm not exactly sure of what your problem could be but i have a hunch. Did you hook up the vtm wire? if you used the instructions off of apex-i's website, you need to make sure you check the updates. the original instructions said to not use the vtm wire which is INcorrect.

heres a link to they're updated vafc install. (where to connect the vtm wire)

http://www.apexi-usa.com/produ...e.pdf

if it doesn't work, go to http://www.apexi-usa.com and go under documentation in the main menu.

I had the VTM wire hooked up. Also the diagram you showed me is the same as the one in my instructions.

if your directions came out after the update then you would have the new diagram. but if you use the website, you have to use the update to get the correct pinout diagram.
