I just bought a 87 prelude i need help.
its a 2.0 si

-shortshift kit
-cold air intake
-exhast
-gauges
-body kits


just any tips i nee to learn the back gound of the car it self
i just bought it two days ago so im in the leaning process about what motor it has
its in need of a rebuild with it having 170,000 miles

If I remember correctly pacesetter makes a short shift kit
Weapons R Dragon is the only intake I've seen for 2nd Gens
pacesetter makes a cat back...headers I believe DC sports has one out
gauges I'm not too sure and Erebuni makes a body kit....there was a guy on HP.Com that made a body kit for 2nd gens but I don't know how to get in touch with him now and it was expensive. good luck trying to fix up a 2nd gen, there isn't much out there...I've got an 86 Si and pretty much left it at stock for that reason...try preludeparts.com...they had the most stuff I could find for 2nd gens...

No way dude I didnt bump the thread, it was on my screen when I opened the honda-tech browser. I didnt even notice the date till MLB said something. I posted my two bits, then noticed afterwards that dude was in a town next to me. Someone might have replied and then deleted their post.. It happens..

It'll still be on the current list even though there isn't anything new.. The screen name of the guy who posted would have showed on the list in the forum, but is gone now because of newer replies..
