this is my cf trunk that i just got in for my 93 lude. i noticed that the center part of the trunk does not come cf like the rest of it. so what i would of course be doing is painting the stock piece black and using that one?? correct? now what about the key locking mechanism? how easily can that be taken apart and transfered or is it all in the panel and you dont have to reinstall it? here is a pic of the 2 trunks

the keyhole should just come out as a part of the whole unit as you take it off

thanks guys. i got it from the guys at istoreparts.com $600 canadian

 

just get CF sticker for your piece. maybe paint it black first then use the sticker. so you dont have white pokin out

 

you have to reuse the center, bring the whole lock mechanisim and latch etc with it


you might have to dremel out the latch hole a bit.. because i did

 

I just shaved my keyhole. and then painted the center peice to match the best i could. The key hole is starting to show through a little though
