Default HELP installing CF trunk

hey this is my cf trunk that i just got in for my 93 lude. i noticed that the center part of the trunk does not come cf like the rest of it. so what i would of course be doing is painting the stock piece black and using that one?? correct? now what about the key locking mechanism? how easily can that be taken apart and transfered or is it all in the panel and you dont have to reinstall it? here is a pic of the 2 trunks

um, yeah, take out the locking mechanism, bolt it to the new trunk. take out the panel, paint it black, bolt it to the new trunk.

why is that so difficult?

It's just as easy as installing a CF hood, it would be easier with 2 people.
