help with installing autometer tach
i just got a tach for my 5th gen lude, and i am kinda clueless when it comes to wires, i need info on where to splice the red and white wire to(power wires), and the green wire, alot of people say on the distributor, but where at?
Red=Battery (I think this one moves the needle so hook it up straight to the battery or some other thing)
White=Switch (This lights up the tach so hook it up to your lights or a switch that you turn on)
Green=Distributor
^^With this one, I actually spliced into the green wire in the back of the OEM tachometer. I have a 4th gen Prelude though. You might be able to find out what color wire it is by looking in some kind of wire diagram or a Helms manual.
