help, h22a compression numbers
ok i already a search, but couldn't find a number... on a year ago, aug 2002, i bought a used prelude, took it to honda for servicing, the compression numbers on the lude were 200, 195, 195, 195.. pretty good, today i got my lude back and the numbers are now, 150, 155, 150 150??? is there a problem here? what i the minimum compression i should have on the prelude? do i have beef with honda warrenty canada, the guy at honda swears that he has never seen any numbers above 185, clearly he is an ***, and doesn't know much... please help... honda specs would be good

yes he is.
you are going to want to be back at your 195 across the board at least in my opinion. there have been people posting numbers upwards of 210 - 250 (not sure on the 250 CR though) but 150 is way low. they are all the same though. i would get a second look at it. go to auto zone and rent a compression tester for $10 and test it yourself.

Different compression testers and different altitudes can play a part in the outcome. I'm sure your engine is perfectly fine. Do you really think that you just magically developed a problem that magically dropped all the cylinders the exact same amount? No...it was just a different checker.
I sure hope so... but the thing was, both were done at honda, infact the same honda service station... i don't know about testers or if the engine was hot or cold, I was just like what the 150?? last time it said 200...
like i said, both tests done at the same place, by honda, could be a different tester, but don't you think honda would do the same thing each time?
