help fast
ok my friend has 2000 prelude and he disconected the battery and the radio security has been activated. when he bought the car the code was missing from the car. the dealership or the previouse onwer lost the code as well as the card that it is on. the dealership said that we would have to get the serial # of the back of the radio and the they could look it up. is this is the easiest way if so could you inform me on how to take the dash out to get to the radio or just how to take the radio out.
they should be able to get the code with the vin number only, but i have heard of them asking for the serial number before. Call them or another honda dealer and see if they can get it with the vin #.

I just called and told them my vin# and they gave me the code over the phone. If they try to charge you, IM me and I will give you the # of my local honda dealership, then you can call them and they will give it to you for free.
