Help with distributer 92/si
my distributer is making sqeeling noises does this mean i need to replace it? I thought it was the rotor which was stuck in due to a stripped screw but I got it out and changed it and the noise is still there should I replace the whole distributer now? thanks for any help
yeah you should replace it. the squealing noise is the bearing inside is worn which you can't replace without getting a new distributor. i think it's a common problem on 4th gens anyways. theres a guy on ebay that sells them brand new for like $170 with a 1 year warranty. i personally ordered one from him recently and he is VERY easy to deal with, quick shipping (i got it in 5 days from canada on ground). but anyways....thats you best bet.

hey blisseeker, can you turn the dizzy by hand,
did you take the cap off to see if it was melted?
