Hi.

I'm looking for your help because today my car started making a really loud knocking noise.
It seems to be the distributor, is it possible?
The engine is a D16z6 with just 96000km, and it had timing belt replaced 20000km away.
Have you ever had the same problem?
How can I solve it?

Sometimes the bearing will go back, but normally they'll make a screeching sound when that happens.

Knocking? Can you post up a video? I put a new distributor on my integra the other day and it was making some noise but I chock that up to it being new and just needing some wearing in. But it was not by any means close to resembling a knocking sound.

Hi.
The bearing has gone, I've ordered a new distributor.
I'd like to reassemble the old one with a new bearing, does anyone know where can I find it? I've been looking for it but it isn't being easy to find.

Nachi makes the bearing, part number 6001/012NSL you should be able to get at a local industrial supplier that sells bearings and seals. I have purchased them before.
