so a friend mis-shifted and i believe he bent his valves. Before his motor had fine compression etc. I don't know how to read leak down numbers so could someone help me out?
Compression numbers are 110 70 120 115 and the leak down in the same order is 30% 90% 30% 45%.

Do a wet test. Put about 2 teaspoons of straight 40wt oil into the cylinder and do the compression test again. There is excessive leakage in all cylinders, a good cylinder will have 20% or less amount of leakage. Compression is low too, but do the wet test first. The leak down test will tell you where your leaking compression from. Redo the leak down test and listen where the air is escaping. If you hear air passing the TB, the intake valves are messed up. If you hear it in the muffler, your exhaust valves are messed up. If you feel it coming from the oil fill hole, or the dipstick pipe, your rings are gone; As a note to this, there will be air coming from there, what you dont want is an excessive amount coming from those places. And if air isnt leaking from any of those places open the radiator cap and see if there are air bubbles coming up, If air bubbles come up in the radiator your HG is busted..
