Default Help? Changing a speed sensor...

Any suggestions on what tools (other than the norm) to use and/or what to remove to get to this damn thing? I was thisclose to it yesterday, but couldn't untorque the bolts cuz there's soooo much room to work. All I got was dirty and pissed off. Couldn't find any suggestions on the '93. The others are setup differently. Call me a newb but offer help if you can.

Thanks in advance!

I just use a really long extension and a 10mm socket, you can get at it from the throttle body area if you take the intake tube off and just have a good 2.5' or so extension.

Exactly what I thought...and did. Guess it's just breaking the torque then.

It shouldn't be on there that tight.

Also, when bolting it back in, don't over tighten it either. You'll end up breaking off the tab on the VSS itself. (don't ask me how I know)

^^That sucks...waste of $50....

In my experience, they're on there pretty tight from whoever messed w/it last....I don't tighten them very hard though, that bolt does nothing but hold it in....
