can't seem to figure out what is going wrong with my cel... every once in a while usually after filling gas, my cel comes on if i drive in 5th gear or rev it hard. when i shut off my car and turn it back on the cel is no longer lit. i've read some other posts on this forum that explain how to jumper the harness so that the cel will blink in order to find out which code it is throwing. my question is how am i to do this since it goes out if the car is turned off?? to acces the harness i have to take of the center console. the only thing i can think of is taking the console off and then driving around but unfortunately this light seems to come on every once in a while and i can't predict it. help me out guys. any ideas??/

You dont have to wait untill the cel comes on. The code stays stored in memory till its cleared
