I have a first gen CL with a 97' h22 swapped inside. Im currently doing a turbo installation right now. My friend told me that Im running an h23 ecu. I've noticed shitty gas mileage, and a tendency for my car to overheat if it just sits in one place- while its on. Could these problems be due to the h23 ecu? Help would be greatly appreciated.

what is the code on the ecu?

H22 ecu = p13

h23 ecu = p14

assuming you have an obd 1 ecu, however in 96 the p13's and p14's were obd2
