Default help!!

hi, i have a 5th gen (97) prelude and something happened with my wires(i think) so now none of my gauges work and this includes my trip and total odometer.. i looked below the steering wheel and a pink plug looks like it may have been accidently pulled out.. does anyone know if this is what is supposed to power my guagues and if so where to plug it back in? thanks alot

As far as plugging things go, if anything is disconnected or lose, it would be directly behind the guage cluster. You'd have to pull it out completely from the dash and check behind it. I could see this problem if you installed some indiglos or something and forgot to plug something in, but if it just happened all of the sudden, I don't know what to tell ya...anybody else?

there are a few plugs under the dash that are not plugged in. Check to make sure that that plug has nothing to do with your airbag... sometimes there is a plug that you can put the airbag plug into when you deactivate it so that it isnt just hanging around but im pretty sure that wouldnt be under your dash... I would check your fuses, trace that pink harness and if you cant find your problem with a little bit of effort take out your gauges check ther harnesses and then put a tester on everything to see if you can find it.....

Electrical problems suck and can be hard to trace, just try the most obvious one first
