The cable fell off the valve under the passenger side dash.

You have had this problem before ? The slider does seem to move pretty easily back and forth> I will check it out in the morning thanks for the info. where exactly under the dash is it ? more towards the center console or the passenger door ?

the part where the cable connects to....the heater contol valve (you like the invented name) haha.....anyways....is out under the hood....

the cable goes thru the firewall probably 4 inches to the passneger side off center.....

find that under the hood....right down the middle of the firewall...two about 1 inch diameter heater hoses that go through, and then one that goes into the firewall toward the heater core....

locate the cable, then have someone go inside the car and move the slider, that will make sure its connected inside, b/c if it is you will see it move.....if not let us know...

theres a little peg on top of the valve, and the cable is a loop, just put the loop back over the peg.....done

good luck with it
