headlight problem

Default headlight problem

my headlights will turn on but after awhile it will just turn off but the gauges inside and everything is still on. also the rear lights from having the headlights are still on also but the headlights are flickering on and off randomly....
anybody know whats wrong? and how i can fix this?

Did you do the USDM>JDM headlight swap (in the case of a 4th gen) or any kind of work on the wiring of the headlights? (any gen...obviously)

What year is your car anyway?

same **** happened to me. pull the plugs off of the bulbs and wipe all of the grease and such off of them. both on the bulb plugs and in the rubber plug itself. i have had no problems since i did that.

yea clean the **** off, and get new electrical goo. i did the same 100% since.

Check all your ground connections also, and make sure they have good clean and firm contacts.

these are usdm headlights
i will try and clean them but what do i clean them with?

i used a napkin. anything will work, all you are doing is wiping the gunk and greese off. i wouldnt use a solvent of any kind, just a dry towel of some sort.

And dont touch the bulbs with your hands when your done..the grease from your fingers gets so hot on them it can cause them to burst.

you dont need to take the bulb out so there is no worry of that. the prongs are in finger reach.

ok well i wiped them off and im still having the same problem. also when i took unplugged the bulbs, there wasn't much gunk or anything stuck in there? it looked pretty clean already but with some dust...thats about it..
where could i check the ground wires?
