Default HEADER ONLY?

would adding a DC header make my car loud as if i had an exhaust?? does anyone have a soundclip of headers with intake but with a stock exhaust?? ..im trying to get that all motor sound WITHOUT the useless typicall loud EXHAUST.

i wanna hear more of the engine but i dont want it to be similar to an exhaust sound..

kinda confusing :X

The header won't change any exhaust sound at all.

ummmm are you guys on crack? my friend just did this and yes it did change the sound. its extremely noticable. it gives that exhaust sound but not nearly as powerful. its halfway sort of.

It wont change the sound with a DC HEADER and stock exhaust. I had it on my car when I first installed it and it did not change the sound one bit.

and I think you're the one on crack as a dc header will NOT change the tone unless you modify your exhaust as well.

WTF? The stock exhaust is a tiny bottleneck. You want a header and intake but you think a larger exhaust is useless?

i noticed it a lot in my car. but maybe its cuz i gotta fatty down pipe with the header. vatk= loud as expletive now. hella deeper. but it mght be due to the fact i have a good header. (Kamikaze)

This is the most useless thing I have ever seen, trade in your lace panties for some boxers and put a catback on, why would you create such a high back pressure putting a high flow header on with a stock exhaust system. I guess some of us like horsepower and some of us are you.

HAHA-HA

no change, maybe even quieter with a h22 DC header...
u can get a more muffled exhaust,or get one with a silencer, or get a good resonator
but it makes sense with the all the parts
u have plenty options

the question is r u on crack. it still runs threw a stock exhaust stock muffler. so slow down on the pipe.

i got my header first, don't do it. you need to get an exhaust to make any power with the header. No mine didnt sound any different when i had a megan racing header on my car

not a slight difference at all?!..looks like ima just get the DC headers matched with either an apexi WS or a greedy sp2..hopefully ill get a discount if i order at the same time..

now for the question...WS or SP2?? i see no difference in the look but ive never used either.. so i can only rely on you guys and your experiences

Don't get the DC, get the Megan header for $200 cheaper w/ the same quality.

damnit how many of the post are we going to have...STAY AWAY FROM DC SPOrT HEADERS...your paying for a name. dc and megan are the same. get a megan and a catback and call it a day. you should really do your homework and search this stuff..even with a megan on a h22 you still want see much gains. get exhaust save your money that you would spend on the header and get a nice rmf header.
