Default header & exhaust

hey im getting an evo2 exhaust, and im am also getting a megan header, will the header make the evo2 sound raspy at certain rpms? i have headr that adding header to the prelude makes your exhaust sound really raspy up top. is this true? thnx.

No; however, that megan header is ****. Absolute ****.

But the exhaust is good. It doesn't sound raspy - isn't there another thread right below this about that exhaust?

It would be no different than having a dc header - won't sound raspy. I have a test pipe, and mine doesn't sound really raspy - low deep tone

I think its overkill to say that the Megan is ****.

In terms of quality, its not bad. generally better than DC. In terms of power gains, it will do very little unfortunately. If you got one for a $150, its not a huge loss - you'll get ~2hp in the upper range and it looks good in your engine bay. Thats $150 you could have put towards a good budget header like Vibrant though. Vibrant is a Mugen copy, goes for $480 shipped, and makes gains on par with Mugen.
