Just got the 2.2 running after a tps failure. Now my headers glow, its smoking from somewhere, but these are new headers so there not worn out peices of shi*. I heard this can be caused by......retarded timing..running rich or lean....spark plugs??? I dont know which.. At the same time the both hoses from the rad are pressurized like a **** and feel like there gonna pop whats this from. where do i start ? Can't drive it cause it boggs out as i open the throttle.. Need expert help!!!!

usually when your header gets that hot and glowing.....something to do with your exhaust isnt right....like a leak and no good compression......or something is burning waaaay too rich

hot=lean

not rich

sounds like you could either have map sensor problems or possibly something blocking your exhaust.....check your cat and catback.....

As mgags7 said, glowing header = vrey high egt.

Excessive egt comes from running too lean, or an obstruction in the exhaust/cat.

Well if you maintain 110 mph for awhile your motor is under alot of pressure and you are running around 5 or 6k on you tach if im correct so. THINK ABOUT IT.
